Requirements for wholesale purchase

What are the minimum requirements and order for wholesale purchases?

General requirements:

  • Have an existing company RUT (legal person or EIRL). We also accept purchases on behalf ofnatural person with turn(employers) in some cases.

  • Complete the B2B record as explained in the previous question to access the conditions.

  • intend to buy wholesale. There is no need for contract or anything complex, just account validation.

Minimum order:We usually set an initial purchase minimum to activate wholesale tariffs:

  • In general it is around$250,000 + VAT (net)as a basic value. This may vary by category:

    • Olive oils: minimum 2 boxes (e.g. 12 bottles of 500 ml) or mix equivalent to $250k.

    • Other products: also reach ~$250k in total. You can mix categories to reach the amount.

    • HORECA customers (restaurants, hotels) sometimes leave with less if they are one-off things, but to maintain wholesale status this volume is expected to be recurring.

Why minimum?Because wholesale price lists are designed for volume. Without this, logistics at a reduced price is not justified. However, we are flexible on a case-by-case basis: if you are going to try a minor first order to test products in your store, talk to us, we can give you that pilot opportunity.

Recurring purchases:After the first purchase, we do not force you to buy a certain amount every month or anything. But of course, in order to maintain B2B discounts, we project a certain annual volume. If a company customer does not buy in a year, we may predate the account (but it reactivates when it returns). We trust relations, not ties.

Other requirements when purchasing:

  • Minimum purchase per item: Some wholesale items are sold in multiples (e.g. closed box of 6 units). The platform will tell you.

  • Timely payment: if it is transfer or invoice in term, respect the agreed terms (this we maintain benefits!).

  • For some regulated items (wholesale alcohols, etc.), we may require permits if it applies. In gourmet foods it is not common.

In short,simple requirements and commercial logic. We want to provide you with high-quality gourmet products for your business, not to hinder. Many of our customers started small and have grown up with us.
