What is ExtraVirgen.Store's return and exchange policy?

Our policy is guided by Chilean consumer protection legislation and a genuine commitment to quality:

  • Voluntary return period:If you just changed your mind or the product wasn't what you expected,we accept returns within 7 days of delivery. This applies whenever the product isunopened, unused, in its original packaging and in perfect conditionas you received it. For example, if you bought an olive oil and decide to return it, the bottle must be sealed, with its label intact.

  • Change conditions:We offer exchange for another product or credit note of equivalent value, if you prefer, rather than money back. Changes are subject to available stock. If you want a exchange per product of a different price, we fix the difference (we charge you extra if it is higher, or we return you if it is lower).

  • Shipping cost on returns:

    • If the return is for personal taste or withdrawal, the return shipping cost is at your own. You can bring us the product to our warehouse or we can help you coordinate retirement with a courier, but that freight will be charged or deducted from the refund.

    • If the return/exchange is due to our mistake or defective product,we cover all logistics costsinvolved. (More on that below.)

  • Procedure:To initiate a voluntary return, send an email toinfo@extravirgen.storeindicating your order number, product to be returned and reason. We will guide you in the process, but it is generally: to pack the product safely, coordinate withdrawal or tell you where to ship it, and once we receive and review it, we proceed to the change or refund.

  • Exceptions:For hygiene and food safety,we do not accept returns of open perishable products(unless they have a quality damage). Nor do products which by their nature cannot be re-entered into inventory (e.g. fractionated bulk tea, or customized products). In cases of products with"secured satisfaction"(We will explicitly mention it whether it applies), we could make exceptions beyond the law, because we trust them - but they would be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Our policy seeks to be the mostcustomer-friendlypossible, while taking care of the integrity of our goods. In the end,we want happy customers to come back, not someone with a product he did not like arrupted at home.
