We understand that unforeseen sometimes arise and you cannot be present to receive the package. Here's what will happen and how to proceed:
You should consider that some couriers deliver on hours from 9 AM to 10 PM.
The carrierwill make an attempt at deliveryat the address indicated. If there is no one to receive:
You will leave a warning (paper or register in system) indicating that it happened.
Generally,will make a second attempt the next business day(Most couriers handle 2 attempts included in the service.)
Some couriers could call you on the phone when you were on the doorstep. That's why it's useful for the phone provided is your cell phone and be localizable.
If in the second attempt there is no one to receive either, the package is usually at the nearest courier branchwaiting for a few days(e.g. 5 days run) for you to withdraw it. You will be notified of the address of the branch on the tracking or by notification left at home.
What should you do?Ideally, avoid reaching that instance. If you see in your tracking that the first attempt failed, contact us or the courier right away. Sometimes the time slot of the second attempt or a change of direction (within the same city) can be coordinated for greater effectiveness. For example, you might ask that the second attempt to be to your office instead of your home, if you know that there will be no one at home during working hours.
If the package went to branch, we will inform you of the address and timetable. You must present yourself with your card and the follow-up number to withdraw it.
Extra costs:We cover the shipment initially contracted until 2 attempts and branch maintenance those days. However, if you do not withdraw it on time and the package returns to our warehouse, we will have to charge a new shipment to forward it, or alternatively coordinate retirement in the warehouse. We will consult you what you prefer in that case.
Delivery to concierge:In departments or condos with janitors, our distributors can hand over to the janitor if he accepts it. We consider the package delivered and secure in such cases (ask your trusted concierge to receive it). Make sure your concierge knows that you expect an ExtraVirgen.Store package so that they do not reject it by mistake.
Authorization to third parties:If you live with family or roommates, they can receive smoothly. No formal authorization is needed as long as the address coincides. The courier usually notes the name of the one who received. You can ask them to check that the package be tightly closed and without apparent damage upon receipt.
Our aim is for the process to bethe most suitable for you. So if you envisage a timetable conflict (for example, you are traveling next week), please contact us as soon as you return, or send it to another address. We adapt.
Avoid refunds due to absence: add in your order notes some useful indication ("Leave in B concierge" or "Call when you arrive, doorbell does not work"). We will make sure you pass it on to the courier. Together we make your delivery experience flawless!
